With a new administration ready to be sworn in to administer to the needs of this great nation America, it is vital to freedom that the people pursue an active role in the governing of their country. Government is not passive, but an active responsibility that belongs to each citizen.
This blog "The Making of A Walking" began as a chronicle for one citizens pursuit for truth, justice in a stallwart stand for the principles on which freedom were founded. Ideally, this blog will follow the engagement of the nations new governing administration, from the changing of the guard between President Bush and President Elect Obama, to the intricacies that passionately rule the heart of this nation's citizens.
To be effective, this blog needs to find a voice, and an order to presenting that information in a fashion that both speaks to and informs its readers, you, by providing information that you seek. A dialogue is essential in conveying matters of such weighty gravity as law legislation, government, economy, farming, international affairs, national security, morality, religion, war and peace.
To be enriching, this blog needs to provide an ordered presentation of such vast information. It also needs to find the causes that mean the most to you. This is where I need your help as a writer. Tell me what matters to you. What do you want to read about here? Why should you come back to The Making of A Walking with so much information floating in a vast sea of internet rhetoric? Tell me. Purchased Name Domain
This blog has served as part of my archives and legal files for about four years. Today, I decided it was time to purchase the domain, so look for this blog in the future at http://www.makingofawalking.org. Currently, you are finding this site at http://makingofawalking.blogspot.com which will automatically forward for the approximate three days it will take for the transfer to finalize.
Watch for exciting new things in the future on this site. Soon I will purchase a customized theme and buy some space with all the bells and whistles. Then, this site will become what I envision it to be.
Much of the history of the quest for free assembly and peace on earth will become a large part of this site and serve as a reference archive. It will be filled with folk stories and the adventures of many traveling peace seekers.

Reviving This Blog
Making of A Walking was a blog started by me, Summer Breeze, better known online as The Midnight Writer, about three years ago. It served as a storehouse for legal files such as; court documents, emails, research and information posted on other web services about the legal case.
This legal case involved me, Summer Breeze, getting a citation July 10, 2002, in a national forest in Michigan for gathering on national forest system lands without a permit. I was attending a rainbow gathering.
The real issue is free assembly on public lands and the right of the people to peaceably assemble according to the Constitution for these united States of America.
Two years later at an annual gathering of the tribes of the rainbow family of living light, my two and a half years of arraignments, trial and harassment came to a close after I was arrested, transported for thirty days, then released by a Federal Judge in Marquette, Michigan.
I have never connected all the pieces of this trial and the time it consumed my life in my effort to preserve my rights. That is my goal on this blog. I plan to keep the original in tact as much as possible as a point of historical reference, while adding further collected and preserved information. Added to that compilation, I intend to gather and display on this site related cases, history and supportive legal information.
