Three T's that will Affect your Business

I found an interesting article in a web directory that I wanted to share and review with you. Since I'm in business, I'm always checking out information about business trends and technology. I like to study the market and other people's insight about the latest in the business world. I'm a firm believer that opinions matter and that the opinions of our fellow business entrepreneurs directly affects our behavior and mindset in how we conduct business.

That's why it is so important to monitor the trends. Social Sites are a great indicator of the potential success or failure of trends in business. I found this article of particular interest.

Taste, Trends and Technology: How Will the Future Affect Your Business

The article author evaluated all three elements mentioned in the title to determine the soundness of a future business plan. I found the article to be very insightful. It's application could be applied in generic form to evaluate any business proposal. Bookmark this one for a little intelligent viewpoint analysis and study its pros and cons. If you are in the business strategy department, you could use this article to develop and implement a platform to analyze your company's future investments.

The author studied the aspects of culture and how people adopt trends or fads from one generation to another, or even year to year. Then he made a comparison across generations and decades to show how tastes change as culture changes. It's a socialistic viewpoint that demonstrates how people make buying decisions and how the economy affects the trends, tastes and technology. It's basically back to the money but the road there is enlightening. It's a good read.

In the same article directory, I found another gem that provides insight. This one focuses on banking.
Variable rate is based on the Bank Prime

Since we're discussing trends and business investments, I felt its mention was appropriate to reinforce my statement about the importance of money in economics and investments based on cultural trends. Enjoy the late night musings of a wandering mind. I hope these articles provide you with some value for your internet time.

Original Intent of this Site was to Record Free Assembly Files

About five years ago I was heavily involved with mediation and activism surrounding the rights to free assembly on public lands. Over the course of five or more years, I attended many assemblies that consisted of thousands of people gathering on National Forest Lands. In that time, I was called to task as a witness and defender of this right, both on the land and in the court room.

I was cited in the National Forest by Forest Service federal agents for not having a permit to assemble. I took my claim to this most sacred basic right to Federal court where the trials that ensued took three years of my life.

The quest for justice consumed much of my time and energy. It became my life. I worked with lawyers, judges, individuals, activists, journalists and all sorts of people during this time - including government workers who believed in this inherent right.

During this time, I kept many records which have yet to be published in one place. This blog began as an attempt to keep a record, so if you visit the archives, you will find emails and court records. It's a fascinating ensemble that I wanted to call to your attention.

This blog's archives is a book about the making of a walking, and hence, it's name.
